Woods Hole Theater Company Presents the Beloved Comedy

Same Time, Next Year

The Woods Hole Theater Company is delighted to announce its spring production of Bernard Slade’s award-winning romantic comedy Same Time, Next Year, running April 16–19 & 24–26 at the Woods Hole Community Hall.

 

One of the most popular and enduring plays of the 20th century, Same Time, Next Year follows the decadeslong, onceayear rendezvous of Doris and George—two ordinary people whose extraordinary connection unfolds against the backdrop of changing times. The play blends humor, heart, and nostalgia as it traces how love evolves, complicates, and endures.

 

This production stars Charlotte Green as Doris and Frank Hughes Jr. as George, bringing warmth, wit, and emotional depth to Slade’s iconic characters. Their chemistry anchors a story that is both laughoutloud funny and unexpectedly poignant.

 

Performances will be held at the Woods Hole Community Hall, a cherished gathering place for local arts and culture. Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
